Shaping the Future of Ad Tech, Adadyn Reports Strong H1 2015 and Appoints Senior Executives for Next Phase of Growth

Momentum includes New York office, expansion in Singapore, new hires and expanded partnerships as the programmatic and dynamic creative provider continues to scale

SAN FRANCISCO & NEW YORK – Adadyn, a leading global advertising technology platform provider, announced the senior appointments of Rob Sopkic as Senior Vice President of Sales and Rowena Patrao as Vice President of Platform Engineering along with milestones from the first half of 2015. Meeting a growing demand among mid-size businesses and brands with conservative budgets to have easier access to end-to-end programmatic and dynamic creative services, Adadyn expanded coast-to-coast with offices in San Francisco and most recently, New York. Adadyn also established a subsidiary in Singapore to support sales and marketing and strengthen its foothold in the APAC region, while expanding partnerships with industry leaders.

“eMarketer forecasts US programmatic digital display ad spending is expected to be $20.41 billion by 2016, but at the rate Adadyn is growing, it’s possible that prediction is only the tip of the iceberg”

With the addition of Sopkic and Patrao to the team, Adadyn will continue on its aggressive growth trajectory and development in the US and abroad. Sopkic brings close to 20 years of industry experience, from leading adtech sales and strategic partnerships within sectors from travel to retail, to ecommerce marketing on both the demand side and supply side platforms. Sopkic most recently served as Vice President of sales at Sociomantic Labs and previously, Regional Vice President of Criteo. Patrao join Adadyn from Edifecs, and brings more than 13 years of software engineering experience having previously led global projects at Microsoft and Amazon. With Sopkic’s impressive track record in sales and Patrao’s consistent ability to streamline operations across global teams and build successful solutions for multiple domains, together they will help Adadyn carry out its next phase of growth to further enable mid-size agencies and marketers to have access to programmatic and creative channels.

“eMarketer forecasts US programmatic digital display ad spending is expected to be $20.41 billion by 2016, but at the rate Adadyn is growing, it’s possible that prediction is only the tip of the iceberg,” said Rob Sopkic, SVP of Sales, Adadyn. “Adadyn is positioned for explosive growth and I’m excited to bring my unique perspective and experience to the team to help take the company further and ensure even more midsize agencies and marketers are benefiting from its cost-effective, comprehensive and easy-to-manage programmatic and creative solutions.”

A snapshot of company-by-the-numbers achievements for H1 2015 include:

  • 2 billion desktop impressions daily
  • 300 million mobile impressions daily
  • 136 countries served
  • Over 1 million fraudulent impressions detected and rejected daily

Having grown by over 400 percent YoY in 2014 and experiencing over 40 percent growth in impression volume from the 40 billion average in 2014, the company is beefing up its engineering team and scaling up sales, account management and marketing in the US. Earlier this year, Adadyn added Priya Subramani, Vice President of Product, to its Leadership Team. Subramani formerly held senior positions at both Yahoo! and Collective.

Adadyn continues to strengthen engineering, sales and marketing teams worldwide

Within the next six months, Adadyn plans to have at least 20 employees working out of its US offices, and 120 employees globally. Planned future hires include data scientists, senior software engineers, and multiple big data platform engineers both in the U.S. and India.
