GershonMedia Launches Programmatic Practice

The digital media advisory firm will expand to offer programmatic advertising consulting

NEW YORK – GershonMedia, a leading digital media consultancy, announced today the launch of its programmatic practice. The specialized practice will advise media enterprises on the adoption of programmatic advertising and guide the strategy to capitalize on the potential of this cutting edge technology.

The announcement comes as programmatic buying of digital media inventory continues to grow at a rapid rate. According to figures released last month by eMarketer, US advertisers will spend $14.88 billion on programmatic digital display advertising this year, a 47.9% gain from 2014. Digital video, the fastest-growing area of programmatic investment, will grow by more than 200% this year.

Starting his career as a radio news reporter, he went on to start ABC’s first streaming audio Internet site – ABCRadioNet.com – and was instrumental in delivering Disney/ABC audio and video content to online and mobile video services around the world during his tenure at The Walt Disney Company. Mr. Gershon also conceived and launched the first 24/7 online video news network for ABC News in 2003.
