Dstillery and Placed Partner to Measure Cross-Channel Performance on In-Store Sales

Major Retailer Sees Strong Lift of In-Store Visits and Sales From Cross-Channel Campaign

NEW YORK, NY – Dstillery, the pioneer in cross-device audience targeting for brands, announced today that it has partnered with attribution company Placed to deliver cross-channel measurement solutions for brands. The first test, conducted for one of the top five U.S. department stores, proved that Dstillery’s targeted campaign boosted in-store sales by five percent and increased the likelihood of consumers visiting the retailer’s brick and mortar store by 34 percent.

The two companies conducted an analysis of a Dstillery targeted campaign for a major national retail brand to determine the impact of online advertising on offline behavior. Specifically, the retailer sought to measure the effect of delivering targeted desktop impressions on driving store visits and in-store purchases. Combining Dstillery’s CrossWalk multi-device intelligence technology and Placed’s panel-based mobile measurement approach, the retailer was able to evaluate the return on their digital investment.
