Industry Luminary to Lead Session at IFA Convention 2014
San Diego, California – Sightly, a video advertising technology company focused on localized solutions, has announced the addition of Ryan Vaspra to the executive team as the senior vice president of product and operations. Ryan will apply his 18 years of experience in performance media, analytics and technology as he leads the strategic development of the Sightly platform. He will also lead the Client Services team in delivering scalable, localized video advertising solutions for brand networks, franchises and their agencies. Those attending the 54th annual International Franchise Association’s (IFA) convention can hear Ryan lead the Business Solution Roundtable, “Is the 1-2% National Ad Fund enough to drive results to your Franchisees?” on Feb. 25 at 10:15 am (rooms C1 and C2).
“Ryan bolsters our leadership team by bringing not only deep digital and ad technology knowledge as well as extensive experience serving brand networks at the national and local levels,” said John McIntyre, founder and CEO of Sightly. “Additionally, he is an industry pioneer in the use of video for local advertising and understands the value of providing all local businesses the ability to deliver their messages to local targeted audiences—driving clear, measurable results.”
Before joining Sightly, Ryan served as Aviatech’s vice president of Media Services and was responsible for all of the company’s marketing services, media placement and campaign management services, including thought leadership on Google business solutions. He also oversaw delivery of executive level reporting for key clients and everyday management of the media department.
“Sightly is well positioned to lead the rapidly growing video advertising market, providing a solution that brands and agencies increasingly need as they look to reach their audiences at the local level,” said Vaspra. “The company’s technology and simple, single-point access to the complex, highly fragmented video ad ecosystem ensures that our customers will get the best possible level of engagement, unmatched by any other video advertising solution.”
Ryan’s hire follows the recent announcement that Sightly raised $1.7 million in funding to pioneer video advertising for the local market.
