Reflects Company Innovation and Commitment to Mobile
NEW YORK - PubMatic (www.pubmatic.com), the digital media platform company for publishers, announced that the iOS6 version of their iPad app is now approved by the Apple App Store and available for download. The PubMatic app, which is called MyReports, gives clients easy access and increased visibility into advertising revenue performance/trends across the guaranteed sales and discretionary sales channels of a publisher. The release of this app is another industry first brought to market by PubMatic.
“As a company we are committed to making it easier for publishers to understand the nuances of their digital ad sales,” says Rajeev Goel, CEO of PubMatic. “Our extensive reporting infrastructure has now been ported into this iPad app that will help C-suite publishing executives who need to easily visualize their performance. We’re pleased that it’s fully approved by Apple and ready for download.”
“The iPad app will help publishing executives keep on top of their on-the-go reporting needs in a real time programmatic advertising world,” says Goel. “We are paying close attention to the growth of RTB as evidenced by recent IDC report supporting that programmatic advertising will continue to take off. In 2012, IDC expects RTB-based direct sales to contribute 15% of total display ad sales in the United States, 12% in the United Kingdom, 8% in Germany and 8% in France. At the same time we are experiencing over 700% growth in paid mobile impression from the first through the third quarter of 2012,” says Goel.
“MyReports is the latest example of the sort of innovation PubMatic brings to the marketplace,” continues Goel. “We continue to anticipate and deliver a complete ad platform solution to our publishers, and with MyReports, we wanted to focus on the mobile needs of the C-Suite who wants real time visibility into inventory strategy.”
The key functionality of the app includes an executive revenue dashboard that can be used across all products: Yield/RTB, PMP, Unified Insights & Unified Optimization. In addition, the app offers the ability to get revenue snapshots and trends, look at advertiser activity across sales channels, engage with audience profiles and assess media volume by both impressions and page views. Any of the images and graphs generated can then be exported for use in other documentation.
PubMatic’s iPad App comes during a period of dramatic growth in terms of product development and international expansion for the business. Offices were opened in Germany, France and Australia over the summer and the company recently announced the launch of its newest data center in Singapore. Additionally, in November, PubMatic was Ranked 3rd Fastest Growing Company in US Internet Sector, 20th Fastest Overall in North America, on Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500™.
