Google Ad Planner Gets a New Interface

| July 8, 2009

Good news for all of you media planners out there working with Google Ad Planner: the much-awaited interface redesign has finally arrived.

As per Google’s announcement, the new and streamlined pages make it easier to:

- Find sites and manage media plans more efficiently.
- Review full data for a site simply by specifying the site’s URL.
- Merge and copy media plans.
- Navigate between pages without losing the audience you’re working with.

Another update of importance is the lifting of the Google Analytics filter restriction previously affecting publishers. If you’re a site owner, you can now use the Google Ad Planner Publisher Center to share your Google Analytics data even if you’ve set up filters in your account.

If you’re not a Google Ad Planner user, you can check it out at www.google.com/support/adplanner – it’s free and a pretty good tool for its category.
