- washingtonpost.com Breaks Traffic Record in September
washingtonpost.com, an award-winning news and information Web site, broke its traffic records in September with over 323.3 million page views, a 42% increase over September of last year, and nearly 27% higher than the previous record of 272.5 million page views.
The best performing areas of the site were politics, up 233% over last year, and business, up 141% over last year. Top performing blogs include The Fix, The Trail and PostPartisan. Pulitzer Prize-winning business reporter Steve Pearlstein also had some of the most-read stories on the site.
